In Progress…

Click Here if you would like to see a very early stop in the design process… I plan on adding a couple more graphics and to continue working with the colors… then maybe the layout a bit…

It’s getting hot in here…

…So take off all your skin.

I am planing a pretty major face lift to the blog in the coming week or so, so I am asking you all to bear with me during any problems that may arise as a result of it.

Litany Against Fear

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

The Juice of Sapho

“It is by will alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the juice of Sapho that thoughts acquire speed, the lips acquire stains, the stains become a warning. It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.”

It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion,
It is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed,
The hands acquire shaking, the shaking becomes a warning,
It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.

Okay, I think that’s enough.

If Peter Piper picked his nose…

Well, today we had a physics test. I think I did well.

Today I also was the only person to finish the program we were working on in java within classtime…

I had something to say…

…but I seem to have misplaced it.

Oh well.

Don’t Vote for Me

Well, today was the primary for the local town board. I didn’t survive the primary.

This is okay though, because my expectations were low, so as to allow for a horrible defeat to not bother me.

But I do think that there is 39 people that need to be drug tested…

42 people voted for me… me, my father and my grandmother make 3 of that…

It seems like my physics lab book is in usable condition, so that will help come next week monday. I can’t however solve the java code I am working on so that is getting me a bit frustrated.

Oh well.

Thems the breaks…

*spins around in his chair…*

oh… look, the blog is still open…

*h4×0rd!!!*

hmmm… I’ve just hacked my own blog…

Save me…

from me…

please???

anyone???

*shiver*

Well, I went and downloaded a version of Amazing Grace done by bagpipes…

I swear… every time I hear it I shiver…

*plays it again, shivers again*

Just something… chilling about the song.

In other stuff…

Saturday my father didn’t screw the cap onto the antifreeze tight enough and I found my physics lab book immersed in it. Since then it has been haging up to let it dry out a bit.. Most of it is in good condition. This might be because the texture of the pages is somewhat waxy, and the antifreeze may not have soaked into most of the pages. This is very good because the book costs $73 and I would not look forward to purchasing another one.

I believe my physics class is starting to get angry at me and my lab partner. The last few weeks on the experiments we have come up with extremely low error percentages, bucking the trend set by the others. Last semester we had high errors, this one we don’t, only difference is one of the members of my group isn’t in the class anymore… I think this is a reasonable hypothesis.

We still have no water. I don’t think we will have any until the weather warms up a bit. Part of the line to the septic is also froze so nothing can go out of the house from the bathtub or toilet. *sigh*

I am not really looking forward to Java class tomorrow because I still haven’t solved the problem we are working on for Wednesday. Stupid Java. This is the offending code.

*sigh*

Well, I don’t know what else to say without totally losing all sanity.

… That is if I had any to start with.

*ouch*

don’t mind me, I have a really bad headache…

Well, some of the songs I’ve been listening to…

Trapt – Headstrong

Rapid Fire – Mon Solace Monde (Feat. Nikalyn De Eavan)

Admiral Justin – Skies Below (yes, I made it…)

Evanescence – Bring Me To Life

Kid Rock (Feat. Sheryl Crow) – Pictures

Well, thats about it…

Thermodynamic Speed

Well, In physics, we just finished Thermodynamics.

The three laws of Thermodynamics can be summed up in three sentences.

1. You can’t Win.

2. You can’t Break Even.

3. You can’t even Play the Game.

heh, always fun :)

On the other side, the ram I ordered sunday night arrived Wednesday, and now my computer is moving lightning fast. Programs open much quicker, and games close out to Windows faster. I am very happy with this. Very.
