RamSmart

I was given the opportunity to test a program through a friend of mine, and I believe that this program is worth discussing.

The Program is called RamSmart, from Allbegone.

RamSmart is a RAM Freeing utility, which, of course, there are many of. The thing that sets RamSmart apart is how clean the interface is, and how effective the program works. This program is, by far, more capable of doing the intended job than any other software I’ve used has shown itself to be.

I tend to think that I keep a clean, optimized system. The first time I ran RamSmart, I was amazed by how much RAM it freed.

I suggest this program to any who want to speed up their computer.

The only problem with this software, however, is it’s price. It has a trial, which is great, but at this time, the price may be the limiting factor for many users. It is tough to say this though, because it is quite possible that the software is worth the price, and more. On the great side of the price issue, Allbegone uses a sliding licensing scheme, to lower the cost of multiple licenses.

Status

Well, it seems that wordpress 1.5 is still running strong here, and I really can’t wait for the final version of 1.5 to be released. There is a lot of nice little improvments in the backend that I really like.

Ted Turner vs Fox TV Network, round 1.

*ding ding ding*

Turner called it “not necessarily a bad thing” that Fox’s ratings top those for CNN. “Adolf Hitler was more popular in Germany in the early ‘30s than… People that were running against him,” Turner said.

And, in response…

Fox News issued a statement in New York saying: “Ted is understandably bitter having lost his ratings, his network and now his mind — we wish him well.”

Impressions

So far, there are a couple of glitches in the backend of WP 1.5 (build 01-27-05), but it seems like a very sturdy, nice looking, hackable cms. I think I’m going to like it.

Pardon my dust

I’m giving WordPress 1.5 a shot, and if it doesn’t work to well, I will have to go back to 1.2.2

Little Plow

Well, my father purchased a garden tractor and a plow attachment, so now we can actually clean up the driveway after a snow.

It’s actually a very nice little vehicle, can manage a few mph when you get it going.

In other lack of news, I’m still quite bored.

Cars

One car doesn’t start.

The other needs gas.

Problem is, to get this gas, it would take the money marked for the internet payment.

I go to the car that doesn’t start, and tada, it starts up.
