I’m glad.

I’m glad all the republicans are finally admitting they are gay. Not because I’m against sexual preferences. I don’t care if you sleep with a monkey every third tuesday. The bedroom should be beyond the government’s worries.

More gay republicans, less republican children.

It’s win-win, as they leave when they are found out, and they don’t reproduce.

No word

Nope, no word back from Taco Bell.

I’m never going to get hired.

Cheesy Gordita Crunch

Well, tomorrow I have a second interview with Taco Bell, so maybe I’ll finally have a job.

I hope.

Google desktop invades your TCP/IP stack.

Google desktop, it owns your internet

I’ve recently discovered Google Desktop’s dirty little secret. When you install it, it hooks into your TCP/IP stack so that it can add it’s content to it’s own site when you perform a search on one of google’s domains.

Every Internet transaction from that point on has a little bit a google in it.

I’d remove it… but I’m google’s bitch. I may whine and moan about this, but google owns me.

Due to all the issues with my domain…

I’ve moved all my stuff to here and will be posting here from now on.

Species 8237

Spam is evil. I install this new theme. I get it to a workable point (for now) and I realize that the comment pages have the comment ID numbers on them. I like this.

Of course, I notice the ID to one of the most recent posts is 8237. Now, according to my dashboard, I have all of 397 comments on there, and I do realize that I have in fact cleaned a heck of a lot of spam off my blog over time.

I export my comments portion of the db, and lo-and-behold, there is only 397 lines (spam-nuker++). I notice that the numbers go up sharply at the end, so I manaually edit them, drop the table, and import this new code.

Viola, latest post is ~422, which makes a hell of a lot more sense than 8237.

HGTTG

The movie…

Right.

How shall one put this.

If you have not read the books… It’s an okay movie, a little cheesy, but okay.

If you have read the books. Find the guys who wrote the screenplay… and the director, and the producer, and whip them with your towels. Repeatedly. For the rest of their lives.

Banning Bananas

Lets see.

Google bans wordpress.

Brilliant.

I won’t go in to it, but to say it was cheap of google.

Elsewhere…

Chris Pirillo held his weekly Radio Show, but this time, he included GoToMeeting software, to allow people to see examples as he was talking about them.

For you WP folks, he actually went, with about 60 people watching, to opensourcecms and showed off wordpress to them, saying good things about it.

In a couple of days, I do plan to do a substantial post… now that I’m on Planet #wpirc I can actually imagine a few new people reading my posts, so I’m going to have to start actually posting content. Well, occasionally, god knows you can’t get enough of my random musings :)

Oh, and thanks to element for finding this nice page about admin themes, the grey one should hold me over for awhile :)

I need a job.

Dammit, I want a paycheck!

I’m Bored.

Thusly, of course, being a blogger, I most post this ever-so-interesting fact.

*pokes you in the nose*
