I’m using this … strange extension I found from Firefox to allow me to blog right in the browser, with a rich text editor (it has sourceview, too, yay!).

So far, it seems to be fairly nice, though it could use some improvement.

I’ll write up a full review later.

So, I’ve started using ubuntu, breaking things left and right, fear me!

Well, I got my free Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2 disks today, all 3 of ‘em.

So far, I haven’t gotten it installed because SQL Server 2005 has to go first, and it decided to install onto my C drive, even though I selected H. I gotta completely uninstall and reinstall everything to get it to work. How annoying.

I’ll give updates later.

Well, recently, I installed the PHP Exec plugin, so I could actually run php code inside my posts…

But, upon loading the plugin, which, at the time, was version 1.2, I found a bug where the code didn’t properly use the <?php starting tag, and would cause the code to not be executed properly.

One day after posting the fix to the site for the plugin, the plugin is updated and I even got a happy little link back.

I’ve added a couple of plugins, so let me know if there are any problems over the next few days.

Thanks to some killer plugins from Dr. Dave, this site is now spam free. One of these plugins, known as Spam Karma, keeps an automatic watch over my comments, and you can see how well it’s working on the sidebar

The other, I just installed, and that is SK’s little brother, RK, or Referrer Karma, which is in place to help combat any referrer spam that I may be getting.

So far, the love is big.
